We have a stall located outside Savages Garden Centre in Blewbury.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 9am

until we sell out!

Our Sourdough Loaves can also be found at:

Delicious Roasted Squash for our special this week!

Roasted with the equally delicious @honest_toil Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sage, Salt & Pepper to season.

I also overestimated how much Apple we had left to use up, so tomorrow we will be moving straight on to the Banoffee Special.

These will be in the Danish square shape and filled with a homemade Banana Jam, fresh banana, salted caramel and topped with Chantilly Cream.

I am so excited to try these! 🤤

My Monday morning project was this Lemon Basque Cheesecake from Sift by @nicolaalamb as I’ve never made one!

It definitely needs some work on the presentation, but it tastes delicious though!

Filled with vanilla crème pat and chocolate pieces!

I’m just jealous I haven’t tried one yet!

This week’s special loaf is our Toasted Sesame, a lovely nutty round loaf covered in extra Sesame Seeds afterwards.

We also have Garlicky Toulouse Sausage Rolls, and our Peach Danishes are on the menu again..

..Can’t wait to try one of them when I’m back!

Please be aware that as Sesame is kept in the bakery at all times, that we cannot guarantee against cross contamination on our other products.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all on my return, and I’m very glad that the bread shed has been able to provide this week and last week during the summer holidays!

Bakers we need you!

We are looking for a new full time baker to join the team in September.

We’re a small bakery in Blewbury, South Oxfordshire, and we bake a variety of Sourdough Loaves, Viennoiserie and Savoury items.

We try to use the best suppliers we can including Shipton Mill, The Estate Dairy, The Bay Tree and Vahlrona Chocolate.

A typical week for us is Wednesday to Saturday from 6am until about 4pm each day with a shorter day on Saturday.

This could change however as we occasionally do a Sunday market, and may look to start earlier in the week at some point.

Throwback to our first farmers market 4 years ago on Friday at The Hive Market in East Hendred.

Things have changed somewhat from those days, we now have a great team supporting us, the bakes look a lot more profesh, I’m getting more sleep each night 😆, and we’ve also built a shed to sell from in all weathers!

We still regularly see customers that supported us back then too, so thank you very much to all of you as well!
