A selection of our Bakes
...Past & Present...

Jack's Sourdough

Our sourdough starter is made with a 50/50 mix of white & wholemeal flour.

It is then mixed, folded, shaped and fermented for around 16 hours in total before being baked in our hot stone deck oven at around 250ºc !

White Cob

Our White Cob is made with a poolish which is then left overnight. This is then mixed with more flour to make the loaf the following morning and results in a lovely flavour.

Farmhouse Loaves

Our farmhouse loaves are baked in 2 sizes, Small (600g) & Large (1kg).

Available in White, Wholemeal and Granary, and will be rotated on different days at our stalls.

Puff Pastry Cheese Twists

Our Puff Pastry Cheese Twists are made with homemade Puff Pastry, and filled with Parmesan, Red Leicester & Extra Mature Cheddar.

A delicious Cheesy combo and always a favourite at our stalls.

Cheese & Olive Doughsticks

Our doughsticks, contain only a small amount of yeast and therefore are left to rise overnight in the fridge, adding to the flavour.

Inside you'll find a mix of Cheddar, Red Leicester & Pitted Olives, then coated in Polenta for an extra crunch!

Buttery Croissants

Our Buttery Croissants are made with high quality French Patisserie Butter and a fine pastry flour (T45).

These take 3 days from initial mixing to shaping & finally baking.

Buttery throughout with a flaky crust!

Pains au Chocolat

Our Pains au Chocolat are made from the same pastry as our Croissants, rolled in a rectangular shape containing 2 Valrhona 48% Dark chocolate sticks!

Our Cruffins are also made with our Croissant dough. These get there shape from being rolled in strips and then baked in muffin tins.

We then roll them in sugar while they're still hot for that crispy finish!

Our Palmiers are made from our homemade Puff Pastry, layered with sugar, then rolled in sugar again before baking to make a delicious caramelised, crispy biscuit!
